Sea glass bead necklace - Little dark blue teapot

Cute little dark blue sea glass bead, set in sterling silver teapot and on 18" sterling silver chain.

The bead was found on the Thames foreshore and is now the center piece of this minimalist necklace.

SIZE

1cm length( bead) on 18" sterling silver chain - overall length is approx. 2cm

Tumbled since Victorian times and now made into jewellery.

London Thames 

The Thames is a tidal river that has been used since Roman times to transport goods and also to dump rubbish in. This little gem of a bead was found Mudlarking on the Thames foreshore and could potentially be much older than Victorian… if only the bead could tell us it’s story!
