Wampum approx 3cm long - all fittings sterling silver
Sea glass are approx. 2.5cm - 2cm
Sea glass from the East coast of Scotland. Wampum is from the US. The lavender colour in the sea glass is due to the manganese content in the glass, which was originally white, but a century in the Sea and exposure to the Sun have changed the colour to a light lavender. I have paired these with amethysts.
Found in a cove beyond a castle ruin from the 13th century, tumbled by the North Sea since Victorian times - now made into jewellery. Own a piece of Scotland!
