Japanese Dark Aqua Sea Glass Marble Earrings, Leverback Sterling Silver

ULTRA RARE Ocean colour dark aqua sea glass marbles set in a sterling silver lever back settings. These sea glass codd marble earrings are truly outstanding. The marbles hang just below your earlobe, very much like pearls.

Inside each earring sits a small 12mm sea glass marble... every now and again a marble found its way into the rough Seas off the Japanese coast and were lost for almost 100 years... until they were found and made into lovely jewellery with a history!

Japanese Sea Glass Marble:
Amazing Oceanic shade of teal or petrol blue. Beach found Japan sea glass from the Tokyo Bay area.

Marbles are still used in Japan inside the so called Codd bottle (Ramune in Japan).

These pieces of Japanese sea glass are from Tokyo Seaside / Japan and found by a beach comber friend.

The marbles are top and bottom drilled, just enough to keep them secure, but not all the way through.
